This club is well worth a visit
anytime of year. The green fees are reasonable and it is a bit different
to your average parkland course, it's a bit hilly in parts and requires
a degree of accuracy off some of the tees, each hole is very different
to the last and it's a good test of golf.
Hole 1 is a par 4 with out of bounds along the right and a
fairway that slopes left towards treets.Tricky raised green, approach
with caution.
Hole 2 is a straight foward par 3 playing off a elevated tee.
Hole 3 a tricky tee shot for this dogleg par 4, providing you
don't end up in the rough/trees on the right or in the ditch 180yds
ahead an easy approach shot is all that is required.
Hole 4 a short par 4 but trouble all along the right.
Hole 5 another par 3, straightforward, about 180 yds.
Hole 6 A long uphill par 4 onto elevated green, difficult to
reach in two.
Hole 7 a downhill par 4,
looks straightforward but do try and keep to the fairway on the tee
shot.
Hole 8 A difficult uphill par 5. A long tee shot is required to
enable you to avoid the sloping fairway with second. The raised green is
tricky and well protected.
Hole 9 par 4 be accurate off the tee and a very tricky approach
shot to the green.
Hole 10, par 4, a good solid drive over some trees, careful not
to fade right down the hill.
Hole 11 a straightforward long par 3.
Hole 12, a short par 3 over trees onto a plateau, tricky sloping
green.
Hole 13 a par 4 with a sloping fairway and an elevated green.
Hole 14 a par 3 off an elevated tee over a ditch onto the green
thick trees left and right though so keep it steady off the tee.
Hole 15
a long par 4 careful where you land your tee shot, avoiding out of
bounds to the left
Hole 16, par 4 dog leg left, no need to take a driver here, keep
it straight and you should be able to approach the small green in
regulation.
Hole 17 a straight forward par 4, avoid the ditch and you should
reach the top half of the green in two.
Hole 18, a wide par 4 but uphill with trees on the left and
right, a good effort to reach the green in regulation, also nasty
approach bunkers.
